Nicola paints vibrant colourful landscapes in soft pastel and oil pastel. Living on the Hibiscus Coast, she finds her inspiration in sunlight and shadow, big skies and beautiful places.

Nicola is an award winning artist member of Pastel Artists NZ (PANZ). Some of her most recent achievements were winning both the Supreme Award and an honourable mention and in the 2024 National Purely Pastel Exhibition.

Working from her Red Beach studio, Nicola has a distinctive style full of colour and movement. She enjoys sharing her love of pastels at workshops and is also Auckland co-rep for PANZ, organising regular paint together events for local pastel artists and enthusiasts.
